Whanganui Three Bridges Run

A small group of Wellington Frontrunners headed to Whanganui on December 11 2010 to participate in the Three Bridges Run which, as the name suggests, transects the three bridges that cross the Whanganui River (Dublin St Bridge, City Bridge and Cobham Bridge).  The course is surprisingly scenic and amazingly only crosses one minor suburban road.  The 10km run does one loop, the half-marathon two loops and the marathon four loops.  The results were:

  • Nigel (21k) 1h33m1s (first in his age group)
  • Paul D (21k) 1h44m46s
  • Antony (10k) 40m33s (third overall and first in his age group)
